West London Residents Have Their Say

In a strong showing of commitment (or maybe pre Christmas good will) Residents from West London YMCA Foyer and the other 8 projects of the organisation gathered in Ealing to look at all the working policies that affect their day to day lives.

The twist in the tail for the day though was that boredom was strictly banned Residents and senior managers present took part in things as diverse as “The Great Policy Review Race” and “Build a Better Support Plan”

Said recently elected Foyer Resident Rep EJ “I really think days like these are important they allow us to have our say it’s really made me want to go out and get others involved.”

This is just the start in a series of activities for residents keen to participate in the life of their YMCA including a training day for new Resident Reps that will be held in mid January.
